Our
History
Fresh Harvest Ministries was officially
founded as an Illinois corporation on October 20, 2000 by Dr.
Cheryl and Jim Armstrong in Woodstock, Illinois.
Initially, the first Fresh Harvest Ministries board meeting
took place on Saturday, June 29, 2002 in the dining room of
their home, with all board members present.
Fresh Harvest Ministries is a para-church ministry, which
seeks to give the Holy Spirit His rightful place in our lives
and in our worship experience. We are an organization,
which encourages people of all ages, races and ethnic
backgrounds to go beyond the "church as usual
experience," as we impart Bible-based truth to
nonbelievers and help mature God's saints to become the people
He wants them to become. We believe in co-laboring with
the Holy Spirit in the heavenlies through prayer, Bible-based
teaching,
through warfare praise and worship and through miracles, signs
and wonders in order to directly attack and confront the enemy
of our souls.
In this way, more of us can come to faith in Jesus Christ as
personal Lord and Savior and more people can then know that
God exists and that He cares about them in their everyday
lives.
Through every available medium, it is explicitly the intent of
Fresh Harvest Ministries to tell the Good News of Jesus
Christ, beginning in the States of Illinois and Missouri and
going to the ends of the earth, in this lost and dying world,
which is clearly in need of a Savior.
Fresh Harvest Ministries is an outgrowth of Fresh Harvest
Church, which is based in Woodstock, Illinois. For more
